About Me

I am a PhD researcher at RITMO – University of Oslo, where my work focuses on advancing music understanding through multimodal information processing. By integrating insights from musicology, music psychology, and music technology, my research seeks to create more inclusive and accessible experiences of music. My work also involves exploring machine learning models for multimodal music analysis, combining audio, text, and visual data to bridge the gap between scientific analysis and experiential understanding.

I hold an MA in Music Technology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a minor in AI from Deree – The American College of Greece. During my academic journey, I’ve interned and collaborated on projects with organizations like Hellenic Parliament TV, the Greek National Opera, and MasterchannelAI. Beyond research, I am the founder of the Greek MIR Society, MUSAI Gr, which aims to make Music Information Retrieval accessible to the wider Greek community. I am also a mentor for Greek Women in STEM and WiMIR, aiming to help young women navigate their careers in MIR, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for growth.

When I’m not researching, I enjoy engaging in creative Music Information Retrieval applications, live coding, and mentoring initiatives that foster the intersection of music and technology.
